Definitely time to drop some news an let everyone know where we’re at.

Progress

Finishing up Amanda’s Renders and everything is coming along nicely. I’m taking Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off from the other job to Stream all three days and finish up the renders for Amanda’s release. If all goes well, it’ll be done by the end of the week.

I had to take time away from rendering this week to prep and reworking some of my scripting to accommodate the added help we’re about to get on this project. Speaking of which.

Hired Help

So I’m biting the bullet, I’ve got four artists on board to help with the art on the game. They’ve all agreed to the terms and are just waiting for me to get my shit together and start feeding them work. Which is pretty much what I spent this week doing.

I’ve got Emily, Jane, Lupita and Monica all queued up and ready to go. The last of the asset packages are being isolated and uploaded and I’m hoping before the end of the week I can get all four scenes sent out to their respective artists and get that ball rolling.

It meant a little bit of delay on the Amanda work I’ve been doing, but, the upside is that I now have the system in place. The infrastructure is built and as soon as I can finish uploading the assets I can turn the machine on.

January is almost gone, but it’s been an exciting month. I look forward to seeing how much we can get accomplished in February!

That’s all I have for now, but look for more soon! I’ll be dropping progress notes here and there as I get closer and closer to releasing Amanda’s next chapter.
