Important Change to Billing

So as of midnight tonight, Patreon has granted our request to charge new patrons up front when they pledge to our project.

For all of our existing patrons this doesn’t impact you. You will continue to be charged on the normal beginning of the month billing cycle per usual.

However, for new patrons you will be charged for the month during which you enroll and again at the beginning of each subsequent month that you remain a support. Naturally if you are thinking of becoming a patron, it’s near the end of the month and there isn’t currently any polling you wish to get involved in, it makes sense to wait until after the beginning of the month to avoid a double whammy. I only mention it because I want to be fair to new patrons. We’re not here to rip anyone off with a double charge at the end of one month and the beginning of another.

To that end though, there has never been a better time to jump on board. Next month we will be releasing our beta and we already have polls and exclusive artwork available for different levels of support.

Our release schedule is aimed at posting new versions of the game in the first week of the month. Additional exclusives and rewards will be forthcoming over the remainder of the month. The public release will run three weeks behind the Patron release.

So if you are already a patron, good news, nothing changes. And if you are not currently a patron, you have more reasons than ever to become one.
