Good afternoon everyone!
So we FINALLY, got through all of those Monica renders. We completely underestimated how long it would take to render her scenes and that is on us. But going forward I think we can do a better job of managing expectations based on this experience. So at least there’s that.
But as we said before, the upside is that while we were waiting for the two computers to grind out those renders, we wrote and coded Lupita’s next scene. We are currently in the process of staging her visuals, after which we’ll begin the rendering process all over again. Lupita’s next scenes take place during daylight hours. Experience has been that the brighter a scene is, the faster it renders. So Lupita should crank out at a fast clip. We figure a few days to pose and model, and a few more to render.
I’m scared to give estimates now after the fiasco last week, but I want to tentatively say we should be able to expect Lupita to roll out sometime next weekend. In the meantime, Dog is currently writing Emily’s next scene, so depending on how the timing shakes out, we may be prepared to stage Emily’s visuals as soon as Lupita is done. But we’ll see.
In other news, we’ve broken past the half way point to our first goal! The number of patrons can ebb and flow throughout the month as people come and go, but we are excited non-the less. Your feedback has been excellent and your encouragement adds fuel to our creative fire. So to everyone playing our game, patrons and non-patrons alike, we want to say thank you for your support!
